This gorgeous custom home embodies and reflects the style of the home owner’s. AOS was beyond honored to not only be the builder of choice, but to design the floor plans as well. Functionality, farmhouse, and flare are a few words that only begin to describe the finished outcome of the project. The modern-rustic aesthetic and farmhouse-chic finishes and decor leaves a mouth-dropping impression on anyone fortunate enough to see the photos – much less, view the home in-person.
When asking the home owner’s why they chose AOS, their answer was simple: BJ and AOS have a great reputation in the community. We love they are a Christian based business! The chosen style of modern farmhouse was simple for these clients. When asked what inspired the exterior and design of their home they replied: Because we built on land, I knew I wanted a Modern Farmhouse style. It blends cohesively into a country environment. I think the response says it all!
Although choosing just one “favorite” feature would be difficult, we were desperate to know the answer! I love having both board and batten as well as stone facade on the exterior. It brings a sense of the modern with a possible history connected to it. Making one wonder if it was a remodel or brand new build. A concept that not all would cherish or consider – this statement couldn’t ring more true.
The kitchen is undoubtably the heart of the home. Scrolling through the photos in the gallery below, one can see the admirable craftsmanship and astonishing selections the clients made. AOS wanted to know what it was that made their kitchen so lovable. We mixed many elements. My counters include white quartz on the island yet, black honed granite on the other surfaces. We also went with alabaster cabinets whereas the island and rangehood are in stained wood. It is the perfect blend for a cozy and comfortable work environment!
